Benefits Process Design & Optimization Lead

About the role

The Manager, Benefits Process Design & Optimization Lead is responsible for designing, optimizing and continuously improving Mastercard’s global benefits processes. The role ensures that benefits delivery is standardized, compliant, employee‑centric and digitally enabled across all countries.

Key responsibilities

• Design and refine end‑to‑end benefits processes, including eligibility, enrollment, life‑event changes, administration, vendor interaction and reporting.
• Apply leading‑practice process architecture, documentation, governance and enablement frameworks.
• Partner closely with regional Benefits teams, Technology, Risk, and external providers to ensure consistent outcomes.
• Define scalable process standards, controls and metrics that support Mastercard’s modernization and automation agenda.
• Monitor compliance and drive continuous improvement to enhance employee experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in benefits process design, optimization or related HR transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of global benefits lifecycle and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including regional Benefits, Technology and Risk.
• Experience driving digital enablement and process automation at scale.
