Banquets Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Banquets Manager to lead our banquet operations at our venue on Vagator Beach Road, Goa. The role involves overseeing all aspects of banquet service, ensuring high‑quality guest experiences and managing the financial and administrative responsibilities of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and motivate the banquet team, scheduling staff to meet service standards while maximizing profitability.
• Plan and coordinate banquet supplies, including china, glassware, silverware, buffet presentations and props.
• Maintain inventory, control liquor costs using beverage records, and oversee equipment and sanitation standards.
• Act as liaison between banquet staff and kitchen, ensuring smooth service delivery during events.
• Monitor guest feedback, resolve complaints, and drive continuous improvement in service quality.
• Conduct regular departmental meetings, set goals, delegate tasks and lead shift operations.
• Identify training needs, develop staff development plans and enforce safety and emergency procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years experience in event management, food & beverage or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, inventories and asset protection.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
