Backend Operator - Purchase and Logistics

About the role

The Backend Operator – Purchase and Logistics supports Auscomp’s trade customers by managing purchase orders, tracking deliveries and ensuring timely dispatch of goods. Based in New Delhi, this full‑time, on‑site position works closely with suppliers, warehouse staff and internal teams to keep inventory flowing smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate purchase orders and monitor delivery status.
• Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory levels.
• Handle material movement within the warehouse, including receiving and dispatch.
• Support logistics planning, schedule shipments and arrange transport.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery issues.
• Ensure documentation is complete and complies with company standards.

Required profile

• Experience in material handling, inventory management and dispatch logistics.
• Strong customer‑service orientation for trade customers and internal teams.
• Basic proficiency with warehouse or ERP systems, Microsoft Excel and other office software.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field (preferred).
