Backend Engineer (NestJS) – Remote

About the role

Brihat Infotech is looking for a Backend Engineer specialized in NestJS to design and build robust backend services, APIs, and data pipelines for our clients. This fully remote position (India) offers the chance to work directly with customers, translate business needs into technical solutions, and see your code run in production.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end design, development, and deployment of backend features.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and turn them into scalable systems.
• Write clean, well‑tested, and documented code that is easy for future engineers to maintain.
• Participate in code reviews and help raise the overall quality of the codebase.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape our engineering practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in TypeScript (or willingness to work with it).
• Proven track record of shipping production‑grade systems, not just prototypes.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work autonomously.
