Backend Developer (Python) – Pune

About the role

Easebuzz, a fast‑growing fintech company, is looking for a Backend Developer to build and maintain high‑performance server‑side services that power payments, lending, subscriptions and eKYC solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements, estimate effort, design technical solutions and plan projects in an Agile environment.
• Develop, test and deploy server‑side logic using Python and Django, ensuring responsiveness and scalability.
• Integrate multiple data sources and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) into unified systems.
• Perform code reviews, write test cases and enforce security and data‑protection standards.
• Monitor application performance, tune bottlenecks and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Located in Pune, India.
• Strong proficiency in Python and at least one Python web framework (preferably Django).
• Solid understanding of relational databases, ORM concepts and schema design.
• Experience with version control (Git) and basic performance tuning.
