Azure Data Engineer

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust cloud‑based data pipelines. The role focuses on ensuring stability, scalability, and cost‑efficiency of data solutions within the automotive domain.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of data pipeline solutions.
• Monitor and maintain batch data pipelines in a cloud‑based environment.
• Improve operational processes, including incident handling, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Optimize Databricks workloads to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Analyze and fine‑tune cloud infrastructure for better cost optimization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–6 years of experience operating and maintaining large‑scale cloud data solutions in production, with proven expertise in Azure Data Factory and Databricks.

Required skills

• Azure Data Factory and Databricks (Lakehouse architecture).
• Infrastructure as Code (IAC), CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and IAM management.
• Command‑line scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
• Experience with batch accounts and data pipeline orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for cloud environments.
