Ayurveda Shalya Doctor – Surgical & Panchakarma Specialist

About the role

Sai Ayush Ayurveda Hospitals seeks a qualified Ayurveda Shalya Doctor to deliver Ayurvedic surgical procedures and Panchakarma therapies. The role combines clinical expertise with compassionate patient care, adhering to classical Ayurvedic principles.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Perform Ayurvedic surgical procedures such as Ksharasutra therapy, Agnikarma, Jalaukavacharana, Raktamokshana, minor surgical interventions, and wound‑care management.
• Supervise and administer Panchakarma therapies for a range of clinical conditions.
• Monitor treatment outcomes, document progress, and adjust protocols as needed.
• Provide lifestyle guidance, preventive health counseling, and wellness advice.
• Collaborate with Ayurvedic physicians, therapists, and hospital staff to ensure integrated care.
• Maintain professional records in compliance with hospital standards and legal regulations.

Required profile

• BAMS degree with specialization in Shalya Tantra (MS Ayurveda preferred).
• Valid Ayurvedic medical license/registration.
• Proven clinical experience performing Ayurvedic surgical procedures and Panchakarma therapies.
• Strong diagnostic abilities and capacity to design comprehensive treatment plans.
• Excellent interpersonal and patient‑counseling skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset committed to holistic care.
