Auxiliaire de puériculture – Crèche collective (H/F)

About the role

The City of Saint‑Jean‑de‑Braye is seeking a qualified Auxiliaire de Puériculture to join its collective nursery team. Working under the supervision of the nursery manager, you will support the well‑being and development of young children in a municipal early‑childhood setting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor children’s health, safety, comfort and overall development throughout the day.
• Administer medication only when prescribed by a physician and validated by the nursery manager.
• Create a reassuring and stimulating environment tailored to each child’s rhythm.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the educational project.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards, clean and organize materials and equipment.
• Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates and fostering trust.

Required profile

• Qualified Auxiliaire de Puériculture or equivalent early‑childhood credential.
• Ability to work under the authority of the nursery manager and follow medical orders.
• Commitment to child‑centered care and respect for each child’s developmental pace.
• Good interpersonal skills for teamwork and parent interaction.

Required skills

• Medication administration under medical order.
