About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited, the largest Bosch software centre outside Germany, is looking for an experienced engineer to develop hardware security modules and the AUTOSAR CryptoStack for automotive applications. The position is based in Bangalore and focuses on implementing robust security features for next‑generation vehicle ECUs.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and integrate them into the AUTOSAR CryptoStack.
Implement automotive security functions such as Secure Boot, Secure Flashing, Secure Diagnostics, authentication, authorization, encryption, key management and intrusion detection systems.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with ISO 21434 and UNECE R155/R156 standards.

Required profile

B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical, Computer, or related engineering discipline.
5–8 years of hands‑on experience in embedded software development for automotive security.

Required skills

C programming (MISRA/CERT C compliance).
Python scripting for automation and analysis.
Embedded development tools: Git, Jira, Jenkins, Trace32, CANTATA.
Experience with AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive platforms, including CSM, KeyM, SecOC, Crypto Stack, IDS Manager.
Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms: AES, RSA, ECC, SHA‑2, HMAC, PKI, TLS.
Understanding of security standards: ISO 21434, UNECE R155, R156.
