Audit Associate

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Audit Associate to join our assurance division. The role involves handling audit engagements from scoping to delivery, working closely with partners and clients, and contributing to high‑quality audit outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and administer audit assignments, ensuring timely completion and proper documentation.
• Conduct pre‑audit scoping, risk identification, and preliminary evaluation of client internal controls.
• Execute audit procedures, prepare deliverables, and report directly to the partner.
• Manage audit teams and maintain client relationships independently under partner supervision.
• Travel as required to client sites.

Required profile

• Graduates or CA drop‑outs with 1‑3 years of post‑qualification audit experience.
• Strong commitment to client service and professional standards.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in a team environment.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of business processes, accounting, reporting, and audit methodology.
• Proficiency with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind‑AS), Indian GAAP, and awareness of IFRS.
• Understanding of direct and indirect taxes and corporate laws.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Tally and SAP.
