Associate/Assistant Professor – Finance, FinTech & Economics

About the role

DBS Global University is seeking dynamic academicians or industry professionals to join its faculty as Associate Professor or Assistant Professor. The role focuses on teaching, research, curriculum development, and student mentorship in Finance, FinTech, Capital Markets, Economics, Applied Economics, and Psychology.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in the assigned specialization.
• Design and continuously update course content to reflect industry trends and academic standards.
• Employ innovative teaching methods, including case studies, simulations, and experiential learning.
• Prepare assessments, examinations, projects and practical assignments.
• Mentor students for academic and career development, including supervision of Ph.D. scholars.
• Publish research in Scopus, ABDC, Web of Science and UGC‑CARE indexed journals.
• Secure research grants, consultancy projects and funded research opportunities.
• Organise workshops, seminars, guest lectures and industry interactions.
• Facilitate internships, live projects and placement activities.
• Participate in curriculum design, accreditation (NAAC, NBA, NIRF) and quality‑assurance initiatives.

Required profile

• Assistant Professor: Master’s degree with ≥55% marks, NET/SET qualified or Ph.D. as per UGC norms, minimum 3 years of experience.
• Associate Professor: Ph.D. in the relevant discipline, minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience, at least 7 peer‑reviewed publications and experience supervising Ph.D. scholars.
• Strong communication, research orientation and ability to integrate technology into teaching.
