Associate – Transaction Advisory & Corporate Law

About the role

We are seeking an Associate to join our Transaction Advisory and General Corporate practice in Mumbai. The role offers end‑to‑end involvement in M&A transactions, venture capital deals and FEMA matters, working directly with partners from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support M&A transactions, including due diligence, structuring and documentation.
• Draft, review and negotiate venture capital and private equity agreements.
• Handle FEMA compliance and related regulatory filings.
• Provide general corporate advisory to startups, VC/PE funds and corporates.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure high‑quality deliverables.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience with substantive transaction work.
• Strong foundation in corporate law, M&A and FEMA.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation abilities.
• High ownership, attention to detail and client‑facing skills.
