Associate Site Manager – Clinical Trials (India)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Associate Site Manager to support clinical trial sites across Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Delhi. This entry‑level position (2‑4 years of on‑site monitoring experience) acts as the primary liaison between the sponsor and investigational sites, ensuring compliance from start‑up through study close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main local contact for assigned trial sites.
• Participate in site feasibility assessments and qualification visits.
• Assist with site initiation, subject recruitment planning, and investigator meetings.
• Conduct on‑site and remote monitoring visits, applying risk‑based monitoring models.
• Maintain study‑specific systems, dashboards and reports.
• Identify and resolve monitoring findings in collaboration with site staff.
• Support site closure activities and documentation.
• Collaborate with Local Trial Manager, Clinical Trial Assistant and Trial Delivery Leader.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in on‑site clinical trial monitoring.
• Understanding of clinical trial protocols, SOPs and GCP guidelines.
• Ability to work independently while receiving guidance from senior site managers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) knowledge.
• Risk‑based monitoring methodology.
• Site monitoring (on‑site and remote).
• Use of study‑specific monitoring systems and dashboards.
