Associate Recruiter – Go-to-Market (India)

About the role

MongoDB is seeking an Associate Recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team, focusing on the Go-to-Market (GTM) business unit in India. The role will support hiring for Direct Sales, Partners, Scale‑Growth, Renewals, RAM, Professional Services and related functions, working in a hybrid model from Gurugram, Bangalore or Mumbai.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers at intake to define search strategy, calibrate must‑have versus nice‑to‑have criteria, and craft compelling job descriptions.
• Own the full recruiting lifecycle for GTM roles in India, from kickoff through offer acceptance and hand‑off to onboarding.
• Design and execute sourcing strategies for both active and passive talent across key GTM talent pools.
• Generate candidates through outbound sourcing, referrals, market mapping and internal partnerships.
• Maintain alignment with hiring teams on interview panel design, competencies, process efficiency and timely feedback.
• Support hiring managers on interview quality, candidate experience and decision‑making discipline.
• Lead debriefs, coordinate offers and manage approvals with stakeholders.
• Use data and market insight to influence hiring strategy, pipeline health and close plans.
• Ensure accurate system hygiene across requisitions, candidate stages, feedback and approvals.
• Act as a brand ambassador for MongoDB in the Indian talent market.

Required profile

• 4+ years of full‑life‑cycle recruitment experience, including at least 1 year focused on GTM roles.
• Minimum 2 years of in‑house recruitment experience.
• Proven success recruiting across India; experience in other regional markets is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
