Associate Professor

About the role

The Associate Professor will join the Sanjivani Group of Institutes to lead teaching, research, and administrative activities within the department. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality education, mentoring students, and advancing scholarly work in fields such as Cyber Security, AI/ML, and Computer Science.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Supervise graduate students and teaching assistants, providing research guidance.
• Design and update curriculum to reflect current industry and academic trends.
• Conduct and publish high‑impact research, and secure funding through proposals.
• Support accreditation and compliance activities.
• Participate in recruitment of faculty and selection of graduate candidates.
• Represent the department at conferences, seminars, and industry events.
• Organise guest lectures, seminars, and faculty events.
• Lead interdisciplinary initiatives and collaborations.
• Travel to academic and industry venues as required.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with at least 3 years of experience or equivalent university approval.
• Minimum 10 years of teaching experience or comparable industry experience in an academic setting.
• Proven track record in student training, curriculum development, and research supervision.
• Strong academic and research background, including consultancy, patent or product development experience.
