Associate Piping Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Piping Engineer to design and develop sanitary and hygienic piping systems for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. The role focuses on creating clean‑able, sterilizable layouts that meet industry standards such as ASME BPE.

Key responsibilities

• Develop piping layouts for sanitary applications, ensuring compliance with ASME BPE and other relevant standards.
• Design skids, valve manifolds and compact layouts that support CIP and SIP operations.
• Collaborate with process, mechanical and instrumentation teams to integrate piping with tanks, pumps, heat exchangers and sensors.
• Create and review 3D models using Autodesk Plant 3D and perform clash detection with Navisworks.
• Analyze designs to minimise dead legs, turbulence and potential contamination points.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in piping design for sanitary or hygienic applications, preferably in food, beverage or pharma.
• Proven ability to produce compliant, cleanable piping systems.
