Associate II – Surgical General Field Sales & Account Management

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Associate II to lead surgical general field sales and account management in Ahmedabad. The professional will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with eye‑care professionals, and ensuring customers receive optimal product solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets by creating and executing a business plan for assigned accounts.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and proposing appropriate solutions.
• Prepare strategic and tactical account plans, providing input on market potential and program opportunities.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts, guiding initiatives tailored to specific accounts.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies.
• Organise customer events and collaborate with marketing or medical teams as required.
• Maintain accurate data in Alcon’s Customer Relationship Management system.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably within the medical or surgical device sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data and competitive intelligence.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
• Commitment to GxP compliance and adherence to SOPs.
