Associate Analyst, Accounting & Reporting

About the role

As an Associate Analyst in Accounting & Reporting, you will ensure the integrity of financial reporting and month‑end closing while adhering to US GAAP, Indian GAAP and IFRS. You will support the finance team with accurate journal entries, intercompany transactions, and SOX‑compliant controls, and you will mentor a global team to deliver high‑quality management information.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile balance‑sheet and bank accounts and follow up on open items.
• Maintain compliance with US GAAP, Indian GAAP and IFRS.
• Execute intercompany transactions and cash‑application/netting for ICO customers and vendors.
• Post rule‑based journal entries and manage the full month‑end close process.
• Address audit queries and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with local teams to align processes and resolve issues.
• Perform accounting activities according to SOPs and recommend improvements.
• Ensure SOX compliance and participate in standardisation initiatives.

Required profile

• B.Com or MBA degree.
• Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS.
• Effective communication and people‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP.
• Understanding of SOX compliance requirements.
