Assistant/Associate Professor – School of Law

About the role

UPES is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in its School of Law. The role involves teaching, research, and contributing to the academic development of the law department in Dehradun.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate law courses, covering subjects such as Political Science, History, Taxation Law and Intellectual Property Rights.
• Guide and supervise student research projects and dissertations.
• Conduct original research and publish findings in refereed journals and academic forums.
• Participate in curriculum development and departmental activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Law or a related discipline (e.g., Political Science, History, Taxation, Intellectual Property).
• Strong academic record with evidence of research, publications, or conference presentations.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: Political Science, History, Taxation Laws, Intellectual Property Rights.
