Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Mumbai location. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will help ensure smooth daily operations, high food quality, and excellent guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams.
• Assist with staff scheduling, hiring, onboarding and training.
• Monitor inventory, supplies and cost‑control initiatives.
• Handle opening and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Resolve guest service issues promptly and coordinate with the kitchen to maintain brand standards.
• Contribute to sales promotions and operational targets.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Good knowledge of food & beverage operations, menu items and safety standards.
• People‑management experience, including hiring, training and performance support.
• Clear communication skills for interacting with guests, staff and management.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
