Assistant Professor of Computer Science

About the role

The university seeks an Assistant Professor of Computer Science who is passionate about teaching and research. The successful candidate will inspire undergraduate and postgraduate students across a range of emerging technology topics.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Engineering.
• Design and deliver theory lectures and hands‑on laboratory sessions.
• Guide students through mini‑projects, capstone projects, and live industry collaborations.
• Develop course materials, lesson plans, assessments, and curriculum updates.
• Promote industry‑aligned learning and keep abreast of emerging AI trends.
• Participate in academic administration, curriculum development, and departmental initiatives.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related discipline (candidates with a submitted thesis are eligible).
• First‑class or equivalent performance at Master’s (MTech) and Bachelor’s (BTech) levels.
• Strong research record with publications in SCI or Scopus‑indexed journals (non‑paid).
• 1–4 years of teaching experience in academia; fresh graduates may also apply.
