About the role

GITAM is seeking an Assistant Professor to join its faculty in Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and curriculum development across undergraduate and graduate programs, supporting the university’s mission of delivering world‑class education.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess lectures, tutorials, and studio work for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Guide classroom discussions, supervise student projects, internships, and research activities.
• Develop and continuously update course content, instructional materials, and assessment methods.
• Conduct original research, publish findings in reputable journals, and contribute to the academic community.
• Participate in departmental and university committees, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level.
• Strong academic record with evidence of research and publications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
