Associate Professor – Computer Science & Engineering

About the role

The Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering will join the Mohali campus of Chandigarh University, delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses and contributing to research and departmental activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver CSE courses at UG and PG levels, including lectures, labs, tutorials, and assessments.
• Guide student projects, supervise research work, and provide mentoring and counseling.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and academic committees.
• Engage in research, publish in peer‑reviewed venues, and collaborate on funded projects and industry partnerships.
• Contribute to academic events, workshops, and outreach activities to enhance department visibility.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in core CSE domains such as algorithms, data structures, operating systems, computer networks, databases, and software engineering.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering (Ph.D. preferred) and demonstrated teaching skills.
• Active research interest with ability to publish and contribute to funded projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
