Assistant Professor – English (Content Development)

About the role

PhysicsWallah Digital University (PWDU) is seeking an Assistant Professor – English (Content Development) to join its School of Humanities. The position involves creating high‑quality academic content for BA/MA English programmes delivered through Open & Distance Learning and online platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop self‑learning materials, e‑content, question banks, assignments and assessments for English courses.
• Design, review and update curriculum in line with UGC ODL regulations and NEP 2020.
• Create engaging learning resources for online learners and conduct live virtual sessions.
• Provide academic support to students and coordinate course delivery via the Learning Management System.
• Ensure originality, academic rigor and quality of all course materials.

Required profile

• MA in English with at least 55 % marks (NET/SET/SLET qualified or Ph.D. as per UGC norms).
• Experience in teaching, curriculum development, academic content writing or ODL/online education is preferred.

Required skills

• Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital teaching tools.
