Assistant Professor – Engineering (UG & PG)

About the role

FACE Prep is seeking a full‑time Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programmes in Chennai. The role combines classroom instruction, lab supervision, and mentorship to prepare students for industry placements and further studies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions aligned with academic standards and industry expectations.
• Prepare course materials, assessments, projects, and evaluate student performance.
• Guide students on technical learning, placement preparation, and higher‑education opportunities.
• Contribute to curriculum development, academic research, and departmental initiatives.
• Participate in student mentoring, departmental activities, and collaborative teaching improvement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering (M.E./M.Tech/MS); Ph.D. preferred.
• Strong foundation in engineering disciplines at UG and PG levels.
• Prior teaching or training experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
• Effective communication, mentoring, and inclusive learning approach.
• Familiarity with placement‑focused training, aptitude and technical interview preparation is a plus.

Required skills

• Mandatory knowledge of Java programming.
