About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Professor in Economics to join our faculty. The position involves delivering undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, supervising student research projects, and actively participating in departmental academic initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver economics courses for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Supervise and mentor students on research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Develop and update curriculum in line with academic standards and industry trends.
- Conduct and publish scholarly research in peer‑reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and community outreach activities.
Required profile
- Educational qualifications as prescribed by the relevant Council/UGC; Ph.D. holders preferred.
- Minimum 2 to 8 years of experience in teaching, industry, research organizations, or managerial roles, excluding time spent obtaining the research degree.
- At least two research papers published in peer‑reviewed, refereed journals.
