Assistant Professor – Business Analytics & Data Science

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Faculty member in Business Analytics & Data Science to deliver industry‑oriented training to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Pune. The role combines classroom teaching, curriculum development, student mentoring and hands‑on project guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions on Business Analytics, Statistics, Advanced Excel, SQL, Python, Data Visualization, Predictive Analytics and related topics.
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, case studies and assessment materials.
• Evaluate student performance through exams, projects and presentations.
• Mentor students for academic projects, competitions, internships and placements.
• Conduct workshops, bootcamps and skill‑development sessions, including emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Prompt Engineering.
• Stay updated with industry trends and integrate real‑world business cases into teaching.
• Guide students in using analytics tools, building analytical thinking and preparing for analytics‑related careers.
• Participate in curriculum enhancement, content development and institutional branding activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of overall industry and/or academic experience.
• At least 2 years of teaching, training or faculty experience in higher education or corporate training environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with a passion for teaching.
