Lower Primary Head

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lower Primary Head to lead and mentor the Grade 1 & 2 team. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and overall student development while fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor the Grade 1 & 2 teaching team.
• Ensure high-quality instruction and student development across the foundational years.
• Plan and oversee curriculum implementation aligned with CBSE/ICSE/International standards.
• Conduct lesson observations, provide feedback, and monitor academic progress.
• Analyse student performance data and drive improvement initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• B.Ed. or Early Childhood Education (EECed) qualification – mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Nursery to Grade 2 within a reputable CBSE/ICSE/International school.
• At least 2 years of managerial experience in an academic leadership role (e.g., Coordinator, In‑charge, Team Leader) – preferred.
• CTET qualification – preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum, assessment practices, NEP 2020, and NCF‑FS.
