Assistant Manager - Supply Planning

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Supply Planning will ensure timely, efficient and cost‑effective operations for our FMCG business. You will work closely with plants, logistics, procurement and sales to translate demand forecasts into actionable supply plans and oversee the flow of raw materials and finished goods.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise supply planning strategies for raw materials (e.g., crude oils, packaging) and finished products to minimise stock‑outs and excess inventory.
• Build advanced demand‑forecasting models using historical data, market trends and statistical tools to support production scheduling.
• Create real‑time dashboards, scenario analyses and KPI reports using Power BI, Excel and SQL, integrating data from ERP systems such as SAP.
• Collaborate with procurement, production and sales teams to align supply plans with business goals and manage disruptions, including price volatility in oil markets.
• Drive continuous improvement through data‑driven insights, reducing costs and enhancing efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in supply planning, preferably within edible oils or FMCG commodities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or related field; MBA or CPIM certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to thrive in high‑volume, dynamic operations.

Required skills

• Power BI for data visualisation.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VBA).
• SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• ERP systems experience, particularly SAP.
• Familiarity with forecasting software and statistical modelling tools.
