Assistant Manager - Special Accounts

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Special Accounts will drive sales and brand presence across high‑end on‑premise venues such as premium bars, upscale restaurants, starred hotels and exclusive clubs. You will develop and execute tailored sales strategies, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure the brand is prominently represented.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with high‑end on‑premise accounts, including bars, restaurants, starred hotels and event venues.
• Visit accounts regularly to ensure product availability, brand visibility and compliance with promotional standards.
• Collaborate with the Head – On‑Premise to design and implement sales strategies that increase volume and market share.
• Work with sales and marketing teams to create promotional programs and point‑of‑sale materials.
• Plan and execute brand activation events and promotions at on‑premise locations.
• Train on‑premise staff on product knowledge, selling points and serving techniques.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and consumer preferences, providing insights to the sales and marketing teams.
• Prepare monthly reports on sales performance, market conditions and account activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in on‑premise sales within the alcoholic beverage or luxury spirits sector.
• Strong understanding of the Indian on‑premise channel and its distribution dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently to visit accounts and attend events.
