Assistant Manager - Revenue & Reservations

About the role

Fairmont Udaipur Palace is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead its Revenue & Reservations team during the pre‑opening phase. You will ensure seamless booking operations, support revenue optimisation and deliver exceptional guest service in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily reservations, handling bookings, amendments, cancellations and VIP/group allocations.
• Monitor room availability, rates and inventory across all distribution channels, applying correct rate codes, packages and promotions.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management and Housekeeping to maintain accurate data flow.
• Train, coach and motivate reservation staff, prepare duty rosters and support manpower planning.
• Support revenue optimisation by upselling rooms and services, tracking pick‑up reports, forecasts and booking trends.
• Handle guest queries, complaints and special requests, ensuring brand compliance and high service standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reservation reports and maintain departmental documentation.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within luxury hotels or resorts.
• Working knowledge of Opera PMS and Microsoft Office.
