Assistant Manager – Product & Engineering Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Product & Engineering Operations leads cross‑functional execution across multiple engineering teams (SDT, STT, WIT, AIT). You will bridge product vision with operational delivery, ensuring stability, quality, and measurable outcomes for software, UI/UX, testing and AI deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery teams and coordinate sprint planning, releases and timelines.
• Enforce engineering governance standards for coding, testing and deployment.
• Align development, testing, design and AI teams to achieve cross‑functional performance.
• Monitor quality metrics, defect rates, stability and production readiness.
• Produce operational reports tracking KPIs, SLAs and delivery performance.
• Manage risks, resolve blockers and handle escalations.
• Drive process improvements in CI/CD pipelines and QA workflows.
• Mentor team members and strengthen engineering accountability.

Required profile

• System‑wide thinking: understands how development, testing, design and AI operations interconnect.
• Disciplined leadership: tracks metrics, resolves issues early and maintains execution standards.
• Resilience under pressure: manages deadlines, escalations and shifting priorities with structure.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
