Assistant Manager – Process Training (Travel/Airline Process/GDS)

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead process training for our travel and airline operations in Vizag. You will be responsible for onboarding new hires, delivering domain‑specific training, and ensuring smooth transition from training to production.

Key responsibilities

• Train new‑hire batches on pre‑process and core process topics, including domain knowledge, communications, soft skills and travel induction.
• Identify early warning signals, provide feedback and create a coaching environment for agents.
• Recruit candidates according to client and process requirements.
• Own end‑to‑end training deliverables such as throughput, certification, and early production performance.
• Conduct interventions during process training and nesting phases.
• Prepare and share accurate training reports with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Perform Training Need Identification (TNI) and update training plans accordingly.
• Manage knowledge‑transfer activities, monthly checks and floor refreshers.
• Coordinate with peers, stakeholders and clients to ensure alignment.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of travel industry experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a training function.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and German.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a 24 × 7 environment (5‑day schedule) with no weekend offs.
• Proficiency in MS Office and readiness to travel as required.
