Assistant Manager – Planning Design

About the role

This position sits at the core of Flipkart’s next frontier – building intelligent planning systems that automate and simplify forecasting, buying, replenishment, and inventory management at scale. As an Assistant Manager in the Planning Design team, you will bridge deep supply‑chain expertise with product execution, turning complex planning challenges into scalable solutions for Flipkart and Flipkart Minutes.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design of planning products, from problem identification and ideation to detailed Business Requirement Document (BRD) creation and product deployment.
• Deep‑dive into existing planning processes (forecasting, buying, replenishment, vendor management) to uncover pain points, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.
• Translate business problems into structured product requirements with clear workflows, edge cases, success metrics, and rollout plans.
