Assistant Manager - Nursing

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Nursing supports the delivery of high‑quality patient care within Apollo Hospitals. You will coordinate nursing activities, supervise bedside services and ensure compliance with clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients’ medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ health status and respond to changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Deliver bedside care, including operating and caring for medical devices.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to hospital protocols.

Required profile

• Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• Academic record with first division in 10th, 12th and nursing qualification.
• 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing, patient assessment, care planning and record keeping.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and moral support for patients.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
