Assistant Manager – Mechanical Maintenance

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Mechanical Maintenance will oversee the reliability and performance of boiler equipment and associated pressure parts across Adani Power’s thermal plants. This position ensures that maintenance activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with global O&M standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance on boiler pressure parts, valves, APH, FGD equipment, pipes and supports.
• Coordinate maintenance work during planned outages to minimise downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of boiler areas and support emergency response efforts.
• Develop and update Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs) and manage equipment history records.
• Prepare technical reports such as RCA, FMEA, BTL, ZFO, and audit documentation.
• Generate MIS reports covering safety, operational reliability and inventory.
• Assist in budgeting, spare parts issuance and purchase requisition processes.

Required profile

• Experience in mechanical maintenance within a power generation or heavy‑industrial environment.
• Ability to work on shift patterns and during plant outages.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with safety training and compliance procedures.
