Assistant Manager – MBBS Doctor – Medical Services (Ahmedabad)

About the role

The Airport Medical Services team is seeking an Assistant Manager who is a qualified MBBS doctor to oversee medical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide emergency medical support to crew and passengers at Ahmedabad Airport.

Key responsibilities

• Manage breath alcohol testing and psycho‑active substance testing in line with DGCA guidelines.
• Prepare, certify and maintain First Aid Kits, Medical Kits, Universal Precaution Kits and AEDs onboard.
• Conduct pre‑employment and renewal medical examinations for cabin crew and ground staff.
• Oversee OPD, clinical examinations, fitness opinions and medical clearances (MEDIF / Stretcher cases).
• Respond to passenger medical calls, handle emergencies and assess fitness to fly.
• Coordinate hospital visits, follow‑up on employee accidents and manage medical inventory.
• Perform calibration movement of alcohol testing instruments and handle medical administrative duties, including video footage retrieval.
• Deliver First Aid training sessions as required.

Required profile

• MBBS degree.
• Class II Medical Examiner certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
