Assistant Manager – Marketing Analytics

About the role

MakeMyTrip is looking for an Assistant Manager in Marketing Analytics to drive data‑led decision‑making across its marketing ecosystem. You will work closely with marketing, product and business teams to translate complex business questions into actionable analytical solutions that improve performance and customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day analytics on large datasets to uncover trends, patterns and actionable insights.
• Conduct deep root‑cause analyses using statistical methods, hypothesis testing and time‑series techniques.
• Design, develop, validate and deploy statistical and machine‑learning models (classification, regression, forecasting, clustering).
• Build automated data pipelines and workflows using SQL and Python, and collaborate with engineering to productionise models.
• Write optimized, scalable SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and quality checks.
• Create reusable analytical frameworks, scripts and automated dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience designing and operationalising statistical or machine‑learning models that deliver measurable business impact.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical approaches.
• Proven track record of conducting deep‑dive analyses and identifying root causes.
• Collaborative mindset to work with cross‑functional marketing, product and business teams.
