Assistant Manager – Logistics (Supply Chain)

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Logistics to join our fast‑growing supply chain team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for planning and executing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring smooth transportation, and supporting cost‑control initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, monitor daily dispatches and delivery schedules.
• Manage documentation such as invoices, e‑way bills, GRNs, and delivery challans.
• Coordinate with transporters for vehicle availability, freight negotiation, route planning, and last‑mile delivery performance.
• Evaluate vendor performance, handle escalations related to delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Monitor logistics expenditure, implement cost‑reduction measures, and ensure compliance with safety, statutory, GST, and logistics policies.
• Prepare MIS reports on freight cost, delivery performance, and daily dispatches; analyse KPIs and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or equivalent.
• 3–6 years of experience in logistics or supply‑chain operations, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, and supply‑chain processes.
• Good negotiation and vendor‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
