Assistant Manager – Human Resources (Pre‑Opening Hospitality)

About the role

CGH Earth is seeking an Assistant Manager – Human Resources to lead all people‑related functions for a new pre‑opening hotel and resort property. You will act as the head of the HR department, partnering closely with the General Manager and corporate HR to embed the brand’s values of authenticity, sustainability, and responsible hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all HR operations, ensuring policies, procedures, and systems align with corporate guidelines.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HRMIS data, and personnel documentation.
• Coordinate manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and build local talent pipelines.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, welfare activities, and recognition programs.
• Oversee performance review cycles, identify high‑potential talent, and support development plans.
• Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Support payroll processing, attendance, leave management, and related HR administration.

Required profile

• MBA or postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Personnel Management or a related field.
• 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in hospitality or a similar service‑oriented industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a hands‑on, solution‑focused approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and foster a culture aligned with CGH Earth’s sustainability ethos.
