Assistant Manager - Housekeeping

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Housekeeping will support the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing the housekeeping operations at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach. This role ensures smooth coordination across hotel departments, maintains high standards of cleanliness, and delivers excellent guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain seamless coordination and cooperation with all hotel departments.
• Interact with guests and hotel personnel in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Provide effective support to the housekeeping team to deliver a range of services.
• Ensure all team members are trained on safety provisions.
• Motivate and develop staff, promoting teamwork and smooth department functioning.
• Conduct ongoing training, coach employees, and maintain training records.
• Conduct briefings for Housekeeping Attendants.
• Respond to customer queries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Guide and advise the Executive Housekeeper on key performance indicators and their measurement.
• Ensure adherence to company and hotel policies by all departmental employees.

Required profile

• Proven ability to coordinate with multiple hotel departments.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and staff.
• Experience in training, coaching, and developing housekeeping teams.
• Knowledge of safety provisions and hotel policy compliance.
• Leadership qualities to motivate staff and promote teamwork.
