Assistant Manager - Cell Process

About the role

Adani Solar is seeking an Assistant Manager for Cell Process to lead PE‑Poly deposition and annealing operations. The role focuses on maintaining film quality, ensuring safety compliance, and driving continuous process improvement within a high‑volume solar cell manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee PE‑Poly deposition and annealing settings to achieve uniform layer thickness and high film quality.
• Conduct preventive and corrective equipment maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and minimize downtime.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, conduct safety reviews, and provide training to maintain a zero‑fatality record.
• Monitor critical process parameters, collect and analyze data, and report deviations promptly.
• Collaborate with process engineers to refine deposition and annealing recipes, aiming to improve yield and performance.
• Utilize metrology tools for layer inspection and support validation of new process recipes.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing safety and compliance standards.
• Experience in process monitoring, control, and data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
