Assistant Manager – Business Development (Financial Services)

About the role

Swiggy is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead business development for financial services targeting restaurant partners in the North region. Based in Delhi, you will work closely with restaurant owners, brokers, and internal sales teams to drive loan disbursal and financing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end lead sourcing to loan disbursal for restaurant partners.
• Build a strong outbound lead engine through direct outreach, local networks, and market intelligence.
• Generate demand via on‑ground activations and identify expansion‑stage restaurants for capex and working‑capital financing.
• Conduct daily field visits and on‑site activations to convert high‑quality leads.
• Collaborate with Swiggy sales teams and lenders to capture leads, drive conversions, and close deals.
• Own and track pipeline, conversions, and monthly disbursement targets, focusing on high‑ticket deals.
• Provide market insights on restaurant trends, credit demand, and competition.
• Conduct workshops and work with the Marketing team to design promotional collaterals and campaigns.
• Travel extensively across the assigned territory to build relationships and drive performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within financial services or restaurant financing.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with restaurant owners, DSAs, CAs, brokers, and local business groups.
• Ability to travel frequently and conduct on‑site activations.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting pipeline and disbursement targets.
• Analytical ability to provide market insights and refine strategies.
