Assistant Guest Relations Manager

About the role

The Assistant Guest Relations Manager supports the overall property operations by ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and service are delivered to guests. Working primarily in the lobby, this role manages guest inquiries, directs visitors, and assists in resolving service issues promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily Guest Services and Front Desk operations, maintaining quality and service standards.
• Handle guest complaints, disputes, and grievances, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
• Conduct regular facility inspections for appearance, safety, security, and maintenance compliance.
• Support energy‑conservation initiatives and monitor compliance during property tours.
• Implement and communicate customer recognition programs and service policies.
• Ensure adherence to emergency and loss‑prevention procedures, including fire, theft, and other incidents.
• Provide coaching and feedback to front‑desk staff to enhance guest experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of guest‑services or front‑desk experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and the ability to lead by example.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
