Assistant General Manager – Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing day‑to‑day operations of a hotel/villa property in Goa. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences while driving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing overall property operations.
• Supervise Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and other operational departments.
• Maintain high standards of guest service, handling concerns and escalations professionally.
• Lead, motivate and manage operational teams, monitoring performance, grooming and discipline.
• Coordinate cross‑departmental activities to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor property cleanliness, safety, compliance and overall standards.
• Support revenue generation, cost control and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Assist in staff training, recruitment and performance management.

Required profile

• Strong previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels, resorts or luxury villas.
• Proven knowledge of hotel/villa operations and guest relations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Immediate availability or ability to join on short notice.
