Assistant Front Office Manager

About the role

The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front‑office operations at a hotel in Mumbai. This role ensures smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, guest satisfaction, and optimal financial performance of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front‑office teams including Bell/Door staff, switchboard operators, and front‑desk agents.
• Maintain high standards of guest service, handling complaints and resolving disputes promptly.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with quality and service standards.
• Assist in setting and tracking departmental goals and performance metrics.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and support to staff across all shifts.
• Collaborate with the Front Office Manager on continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of guest‑services or front‑desk experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lead, influence, and build trust within a team.
• Commitment to honesty, integrity, and exemplary customer service.
