Assistant Clinical Nurse

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Clinical Nurse to join our team at Apollo Hospitals. The role involves providing direct patient care, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring accurate medical documentation in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients' medical history, symptoms, and vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and basic nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and report changes promptly.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post‑discharge care.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment is functional.
• Provide bedside care, including hygiene, mobility assistance, and comfort measures.

Required profile

• Graduate in Nursing (GNM, BSc Nursing, or MSc Nursing) with first‑division marks in 10th, 12th and nursing qualifications.
• 3 months to 5 years of experience in clinical nursing, patient assessment, and care planning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, teamwork orientation, and a compassionate approach to patients.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for documentation and basic hospital information systems.
