AS and A Level Economics Teacher

About the role

We are seeking qualified Economics teachers to deliver AS and A Level curricula to our international student body. The role involves preparing and delivering lessons that meet IGCSE, AS and A Level standards while fostering a stimulating learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess Economics lessons for AS and A Level classes.
• Develop teaching materials aligned with IGCSE, AS and A Level specifications.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate qualification in Economics or a related field.
• A degree in Education is desirable.
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience with International Curriculum (IGCSE / AS & A Level).
• Strong knowledge of AS and A Level Economics syllabi.

Required skills

• Proficiency in designing lesson plans for IGCSE, AS and A Level standards.
• Ability to assess and evaluate student work effectively.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques.
