Area Sales Manager – POS & CBSF

About the role

SBI Card is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead the POS and CBSF distribution channels across an assigned geography. You will oversee a large team of non‑face‑to‑employee (NFTE) resources, drive product sales, and ensure seamless execution of distribution strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of 50‑120 NFTEs, including Relationship Executives, Tele‑Sales Agents, Relationship Managers, Team Leaders and support staff.
• Coordinate with the Workforce Enablement function for hiring, training and placement of NFTEs according to skill‑set requirements.
• Ensure compliance of PSA sites with internal audit guidelines and manage open‑market distribution points and co‑brand tie‑ups.
• Monitor competitive moves, align sourcing strategies and open new distribution points to expand market reach.
• Maintain cost‑effective delivery while meeting sales targets for SBI Card products.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large sales teams (50+ members) within the financial services or credit‑card industry.
• Strong coordination skills to work with hiring, training and operations functions.
• Ability to manage compliance, audit requirements and cost‑control for distribution sites.
• Excellent understanding of POS and co‑brand distribution channels.
