Area Sales Manager – Particle Board Products

About the role

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will lead sales growth for our Particle Board range across the assigned territory. You will build and nurture dealer and distributor networks, drive market penetration among carpenters, contractors and furniture manufacturers, and ensure the achievement of revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for Particle Board products.
• Develop and expand the dealer and distributor network within the territory.
• Identify new business opportunities with furniture manufacturers, contractors and interior designers.
• Manage relationships with dealers, distributors and channel partners, monitoring stock levels and product availability.
• Implement company schemes, promotional activities and trade programs.
• Conduct regular market visits, organize product awareness programmes and carpenter meets.
• Track competitor activities, pricing and market trends, providing feedback to management.
• Coordinate with marketing, logistics and supply‑chain teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and monitor KPIs.

Required profile

• Graduate or MBA in Sales & Marketing (preferred).
• 5–8 years of sales experience in plywood, MDF, particle board, laminate or other building‑materials sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong network of dealers and distributors in the construction or furniture industry.
